Embrace your differences. We are all rooted to a collective perspective, we are more the same then we are different. Embody the odd, the strange, the weird, the "non-normal"... because that's all there really is. Lets stand up and stand out, to stand together.
This world is messy, confusing, and overwhelming with complexity. It cannot be UNDERSTOOD(in other words, FULLY known). Similar to truth. Only realized. All definitions are partial, and while we should fully utilize and expand the very thing that has catapulted us to our current position, Language, we must also not get caught up on the level words, as they can only point-to/suggest/represent the reality at hand. Each word's definition, in other words representation or interpretation, requires the definitions of several other words, each of those words also requiring the definitions of other words and so on. As one can see, spoken language is extremely interconnected, related and dependent upon itself. Thus, though certain words hold a larger cultural or historical focus/emphasis, many words can be used in place of many of those same words, and I believe it is rather silly to get overly attached to particular symbols, realizing that they aren't exactly what they inspire. As Aldous Huxley brilliantly depicts the conundrum, "However expressive, symbols can never be the things they stand for,".
As language creating, using and developing primates, I believe we all are artists at the forefront, language it self being an art. Anybody who recognizes themselves as an artist would be the first to state that most of us are more creative than we give credit to, and that much of the work they create is entirely dependent upon the experiences and inspiration of people who don't define themselves as artist. In other words, most artist know that they aren't really any more special from the next person, beyond their particular passion and perspective which translates into their connection and thus reflection of the information they percieve/experience, then reflecting through their art. We are all part of the creative, arctic process, progress and vision whether we realize and admit it or not. Further more, what art surround is the weird. The hard to explain. The relatable strange reality that we all share a slice of. So let's cut to the chase.
Let's admit, to advance and admire.
"This world is not only stranger than we suppose, it's stranger than we can suppose"
-J.B.S. Haldane
